The connection between Social Justice and Sexism.
Sexism is a problem we, as every day citizens, probably encounter and if it's not us, it's someone else with the same rights as you. Why isn't everyone getting the same rights as other people are. Sexism comes into play in our every day lives, whether that's applying for a job, sitting in a cafeteria or many other cases. Social Justice is pretty self explanatory, it's the justice over our social lives. But as simple as it may seem, it's not actually handled in the same manner. Though many people are working on this issue, it still comes into play, whether intentional or not. Sexism means treating one sex (or gender) differently or better than another. Sexism is made of two words: one being sex, which means gender (boy or girl) and ism being ways way treat others. In simpler terms, sexism means treating men differently from women. There are many isms (ex. sexism, racism etc.) and this is, in my opinion, one of the worst ones. You may ask yourself why this is so important? Well, it separates the world in two, literally. I say this because around 50.25% of the world's population is made up of men while 49.75% of the world's population is made up of women.
